A highly cheerful buzz was found in the village hall at the Macmillan coffee morning on 21st September. The monthly coffee morning is always a friendly event but this one always seems to attract a varied group of locals and visitors and friends. There aren’t many people who are not touched in some way by this disease and so Macmillan charity together with their research and support are to be encouraged.
We are pleased to welcome Sue Perry, our Mayor and Therese, our local policewoman, who ran an excellent raffle and tombola. There were delicious cakes and coffee, games, books and bric a brac.
We were thrilled to raise £370 with your kind purchases and donations. Thank you for your kindness.
