Since the beginning of the year we have held monthly coffee mornings on the third Friday of the month welcoming the community and friends from 10 to 12noon. They have been most successful especially as we have been able to offer the Guide Dogs for the Blind approximately £300 (this was collected over the first three months of the year) to train and take on three lovely puppy dogs; their names and information are on the entrance notice board to the village hall and they are lovely.
This is thanks to Carolyn, Ros B, Pam O, Pam T Clair and Margaret for running the coffee mornings in January, February and March. In April Stuart and Ken Proudly presented us with £47.50 to give to Tenbury Scouts and Guides. And in May Pat M and Elain were able to send £80 to the Macular Society.
Thank you to all for supporting and attending the coffee mornings, to Kyrebrook Day Centre for visiting us also each time and the enjoyment and buzz of this important village monthly hub!
We look forward to June when Chris, Annie and Cherry are going to start us off raising funds for our WWI exhibition. This of course is in November and we shall need some materials and help in funding such a special occasion.
Thank you to you all
